 | If you’re taking to the roads with a caravan, trailer or horsebox, don’t set out without a final safety and maintenance check, especially if you leave it standing for most of the year. Travels with my toyboy continues here with book 2 WET, WET, WET the new kid on the block. Book 1 can be found here
We approach Javier with the same caution as last year. Its into the approach road, onto the bridge over the dried up river bed and behind the factory. Only this time - no bridge ! Just loads and loads of new apartments and villas to buy. We went down the road we thought we should go and whoops ! straight up a dead end. El Presidente had to reverse abnout 60 yards back but hey that was nothing for a country figurehead. Once down at Evesham we had to reverse back 400 yards. I blame TOMTOM and the fact that we havent updated this year.

We are now in the Dordogne at Sarlat la caneda. The town of SARLAT is wonderful and the campsite we got from the ACSI book is incredible. |
